World Food Prize Laureate Announcement

Each year, the World Food Prize Foundation awards the World Food Prize, which recognizes–without regard to race, religion, nationality or political beliefs–the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world. The recipient is announced each spring during an invitation-only event. The World Food Prize is officially awarded during the Laureate Award Ceremony in October at a ceremony during the Borlaug Dialogue in Des Moines.
